Herkimer, NY - Yesterday was the Herkimer Generals final home game of this season and they took on the Adirondack Timberwolves in a hard fought battle winning 3-2 with scores of 24-25, 25-22, 25-20, 18-25 and 15-7.
Leading the Generals was # 7 Ciara Aberham-Davis from Utica, NY with 14 kills, 10 digs and 5 blocks, # 18 Sophie Hyde from Mohawk, NY with 7 kills, 3 assists, 1 ace, 15 digs, # 2 Maria Humble from Herkimer, NY with 4 kills, 1assist, 1 ace, 17 digs and # 1 Marcella Seaton from Utica NY with 2 kills, 24 assists, 1 ace and 10 digs.
It was also "sophomore" night for three young ladies who will be moving on at the end of the spring semester 2023 they are # 1 Marcella Seaton from Utica NY, # 2 Maria Humble from Herkimer, NY and # 18 Sophie Hyde from Mohawk, NY. We want to wish them good luck in whatever their future holds.
This was also Coach Ste-Marie's last home game as she is moving on with her career. Good Luck to her with this next venture! You will be missed by the team and Coach Smith!
