The athletic department maintains official Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Accounts. These accounts serve as sources of information for Herkimer Generals Athletics.

 

Herkimer Generals Branding

All Herkimer Generals branding, which includes, designs, videos or any type of creation, must be done in accordance to the Herkimer College Brand Standard Guide

 

Media and Photography Credentials

Credentials will be issued to members of the working media, or preapproved individuals only. Please contact Sean Lynch, for credentials no later than 48 hours prior to a contest. On field/court photography credentials will not be issued for parents and non-professional photographers. Parents or relatives of student-athletes are not permitted to be on the sidelines or anywhere on the playing surface for photography purposes of any sport.

 

Film, Photography and Video Policy

All requests to interview or film student-athletes at an athletic contest at Herkimer College must go through the Athletic Communications Office. 

 

Practice Coverage

Herkimer College athletics teams practice at various times throughout the course of the season. All student-athletes and head coaches are generally available for interviews before or after practice. Please contact Sean Lynch at least 24 hours in advance to request an interview at a practice.

 

Press Box Facilities/Services

Press box facilities are available for media use at Wehrum Stadium. Other areas can be designated for media use. Game day programs, statistics and rosters will be provided for each contest. Media members may file stories from the Wehrum Stadium press box or other areas that will be designated before the home contest begins.

 

Postgame Interviews

All postgame interviews with Generals student-athletes and coaches should be scheduled through Sean Lynch as soon as possible. Interviews with Herkimer student-athletes and head coaches will take place following a 10-minute cooling-off period. 

 

Internet Access

Public wireless internet access is available throughout the college campus through the Guest Wi-Fi. Athletic Communications staff will provide all necessary information to access the internet if any connection problems arise.

 

Media Parking

There is no designated parking area for media members although parking is available at both Wehrum Stadium and the Herkimer College Gymnasium.
