Generals Track And Field Competes at St. Lawrence 'Ice Breaker Invitational'

Canton NY-The Generals opened the 2022 Track and Field season with some strong performances at the St. Lawrence Ice Breaker Invitational.

Jynnae Stevens(Schenectady, NY) placed 3^rd 100 Meters and 5^th 200 Meters crossing the line at 13.49 and 28.45. Ja'Nia Ray(Syracuse, NY) placed 3^rd in 100 Meter Hurdles with a PR of 18.89.

Avion Harris(Niagara Falls, NY) placed 7^th overall in the Men's 1500 meters with an outstanding time of 4:36. Notorius Gue(Unadilla, NY) jumped his way to a 2^nd place Triple Jump (PR) (39'8 ¾ " )and 8^th overall in Long Jump. Asa Diamond(Bay Shore,NY) placed 5^th in Javelin 81'3" and Chase Bowman(Little Falls, NY) had a (PR) 5:21 in the 1500 Meters and placed 16^th. Michael Carlson(Barneveld, NY) placed 12^th overall in Shot put and 11^th in Discus.

Herkimer is back in action Saturday (4/9) when they travel to Utica College.
