Bio

Vicki Brown begins her 16th year with the team and 2nd as the assistant coach for the men’s and women’s swimming & diving team in 2022-23. During her tenure, both teams have achieved several milestones:

- 2014 & 2016 Swimming & Diving Coach of the Year

- NJCAA National Academic Team of the Year: 2007-08, 2008-09 (women’s swimming)

- 14 individual Regional Championships

- 2nd place finish, Men’s Swimming & Diving Team, 2010, 2011, and 2016 Region 3 Championships

- 2nd place finish, Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving Team, 2011 and 2016 Region 3 Championships

- 2008, 2009 & 2016 George Steitz Most Improved Men’s Team Award

Vicki holds a B.A. and M.S.Ed. from SUNY Potsdam where she competed in backstroke and distance freestyle. She is currently employed as the Director of Student Activities in the Center for Student Leadership & Involvement at Herkimer College.
