Herkimer Finishes the NJCAA Region 3 Swimming and Diving Championship with Another Championship
Rochester, NY - The Herkimer Generals wrapped up their Regional meet on Sunday with strong Swims. Shuta Nishimura won his third regional championship in his 200-yard breaststroke. He also finished 5th in the 100-yard freestyle. Riley Thompson dropped 13 seconds off his 200-yard backstroke time and captured a third-place finish. Edson Matlombe was able to swim his fastest times in the 100-yard freestyle as well. The men's relay finished the meet off with a 4th place finish in the 400-freestyle relay. The Men's team finished the meet with a fourth-place finish overall and will move on to compete at the National Championship meet in March out in Buffallo.
