The Generals Host the Herkimer Invintational to End the First Half of the Season

Herkimer College's swimming and diving team hosted their home invitational hosting Erie and Genesee College. This was the final home meet for swimmers Jasmine Martin, Matthew Travis, Shuta Nishimura, and Madison Campagna. For the Women's team, returning swimmer Jasmine Martin made her season debut with a second place finish in the 100 yard backstroke and winning the 200 yard freestyle. Meanwhile, Madison Campagna got her best times in all three events that she swam. On the Men's side, Riley Thompson placed 3rd in the 200 free, 4th in the 100 Free, and won the 100 yard backstroke. Matthew Travis won both the 200 yard freestyle and the 400 IM and placed 2nd in the 100 yard butterfly. Shuta Nishimura placed 2nd in the 50 Free, 3rd in the 100 Free, and won the 100 Breaststroke. Herkimer's Men's team were able to defeat Genesee Community College and end the first half of their season on a high note!!!
