Generals Start Season at Monroe Invitational
The Herkimer Generals began their season at Monroe College for an invitational with Monroe, Jamestown, Erie, and Genesee Colleges. Returning swimmer Matthew Travis placed 2nd in the 200 IM and won the 100 Fly with a National qualifying time of 1:04.97. Freshman swimmer Riley Thompson started his General's career off with a strong showing in the 200 Free and finished 2nd in the 100 backstroke. New Swimmer Madison Campagna also began her career strong with good showings in the 100 and 50 free and the 100 backstroke. It was a strong debut for Herkimer all around.
