Travis, Martin Lead Generals at Cazenovia Invitational
CAZENOVIA, NY -- The Herkimer Generals Swimming and Diving team continued their season competing at Cazenovia College competing against Cazenovia and SUNY Cobleskill. Matt Travis(Fort Plain, NY) representing the Men's team got a first place finish in the 1000 Freestyle where he was 1 second off of breaking the college record. He also finished first in the 200 IM as well as the 50 yard Butterfly. Jasmine Martin (New Hartford, NY) placed 3rd in the 100 Yard Butterfly, 3rd in the 100 Yard Freestyle, and 2nd in the 50 yard Butterfly. Jasmine qualified for the National Championship meet in the 50 Yard Butterfly while Matt Qualified in the 1000 yard freestyle, the 50 yard butterfly and the 100 yard breaststroke.
