Herkimer (28-2) trailed by as many as eight in the first four minutes of the game. They clawed back, tying the game at 28 with 5:18 left in the first half before going on a 9-0 run to end the half and securing a nine-point halftime lead.
They never looked back, never surrendering the lead and ultimately securing the 12-point victory.
