Women's Basketball Season Comes to End at Region III Quarterfinal

Herkimer Women's Basketball season came to an end with a 70-45 loss to Fulton-Montgomery in the Region III Quarterfinal. The Raiders dominated the game from the start, leading by 16 points at halftime and maintaining their lead throughout the game.

The Generals struggled to find their rhythm on offense, shooting only 23.4% from the field and 27.8% from three-point range. Despite a solid performance from Lydia Reimer with nine points and nine rebounds, the team couldn't overcome their shooting woes.

Key players for Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders were Abigail Lombardoni with 29 points and 18 rebounds, Andie Gannon with 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Makenzie Smith with 17 points and 18 rebounds. They showcased strong shooting percentages, especially from beyond the arc, which helped them secure the win.

The game showed the dominance of Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders on both ends of the floor, outrebounding Herkimer College Generals and forcing more turnovers.
