Bio

As the head athletic trainer, Kyle Roepnack is responsible for evaluating and treating athletic injuries and working with athletes through rehabilitation. Kyle’s goal is to ensure that every athlete is as healthy as possible for their athletic contests. A wide variety of treatments are offered including ultrasound, electric stim, whirlpool therapy, hot and cold therapy and various therapeutic exercises.

Kyle is also the Chairperson for the Region 3 Health and Safety Committee, a member of the NJCAA Student Athlete Safety and Welfare Council, and the NJCAA representative on the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine. Kyle was also recently named 2019-2020 Region III Athletic Trainer of the Year by the Region III Athletic Directors.

Kyle has been a certified athletic trainer since 1998. He holds a B.S. from Springfield College and previously worked for the Utica City School District at Proctor High School. Kyle has worked at Herkimer since 2005.
