Ali Somow, 2021 October Athlete of the Month

Men's Soccer player Ali Somow is the 2021 October Green & Gold Athlete of the Month.

The freshman midfielder Ali Somow, has led the Generals to the National Tournament and a 10-1 record. In addition, Somow was recently named the Region 3, District B player of the year, Region 3 athlete of the week (October 25th-31st) and Mountain Valley 1st teamer. To date, Somow is the national leader in assists with 16 and currently has 4 goal on the season. Head Coach Pepe Aragon said “Ali has been tremendous for us this season. He is unbelievably fast, skillful and has been double, sometimes triple teamed this season.”
