Mikayla Blumenstock, September Athlete of the Month

Mikayla Blumenstock has been a force on the field for the Herkimer women’s soccer team this year. The forward from Poland, NY has managed 19 Goals & 13 Assists for 51 points during the months of September and August. She leads Region 3 in goals and points scored and she also ranks second in the region with assists. In the country she ranks 4th in goals, 7th in assists, and 3rd in points while only playing 3 complete games.

Coach Palkovic had this to say about Blumenstock, “Mikayla is a pure finisher as evident by her stats. But what might be even more impressive is that she is doing this while playing just half the game the majority of the time. She is on pace to have one of the best statistical 2 year careers in the history of Herkimer Women’s Soccer.”
