Taylor Zaino, March Athlete of the Month

Softball Outfielder Taylor Zaino is the 2018 March Green & Gold Female Athlete of the Month

Herkimer College has announced its Green and Gold Athletes for the month of March. They are men’s baseball player Cody Kaestle (Phoenix, NY) and women’s softball player Taylor Zaino (Newport, NY).

Zaino, a freshman centerfielder, hit .483 for the month of March with a .634 on base percentage and added 12 BB and 5 stolen bases in 11 games. Coach PJ Anadio said, “Taylor has been a huge reason for the quick start we have experienced this season. She is a true triple threat at the plate to go along with incredible softball IQ.”
