Pete McAvoy, September Athlete of the Month

Men’s Soccer player Peter McAvoy (Dundee, Scotland) was named Male Athlete of the Month in September for his play on the turf. McAvoy is a Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies major. McAvoy has accumulated seven goals and one assist in nine games this season, an impressive feat for a defenseman. Head Coach Pepe Aragon said, “Pete had the game-winner against Brookdale (1-0) and #6 ranked Adirondack 1-0. He has been tremendous on both ends of the field. He’s a great leader!” McAvoy has also helped the Generals shutout six opponents thus far.
