Kayla Barber, September Athlete of the Month

Women’s Volleyball player Kayla Barber (South Glens Falls, NY) was named Female Athlete of the Month in September for her play on the hardwood. Barber is a Liberal Arts & Sciences: Physical Education major who had 248 Kills, 30 Aces, seven Assists, 192 Digs, 88 Blocks and 353.5 Points Scored (40 percent of the team total). She was also named to the All-Tournament Team at the Alfred State Invitational. Head Coach Kristy Lynch said, "Kayla is a phenomenal athlete! She is our team captain and our go-to player to get the job done. She understands how to better her teammates and truly gives everything she has every time she steps on the court.”
