Victoria Campanian, October Athlete of the Month

Women’s Cross Country runner Victoria Campanian (Glenfield, NY) was named Female Athlete of the Month in October for her superb running this fall. Campanian, a Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies Major, finished first four times overall this season, taking both Mountain Valley Conference and Regional honors. She is only the third woman in General history to win a Regional event. Both cross country coaches described Campanian as a silent leader who has not only gotten better, but stayed consistent throughout the entire season. This week, the freshman leader, who has been predicted to win Nationals this weekend at Holyoke Community College, will look to keep her consistency going, running yet another sub-20 overall time.
