On Sophomore Day, the Generals delivered a dominant 8-0 performance against Jamestown Community College, celebrating their sophomores in style. Lugo-Mateo continued her strong form, netting the first goal just 7 minutes into the match, assisted by Kimora Brown. Brown herself followed up with an unassisted goal at the 38th minute. The Generals didn't ease up in the second half. An own goal by Jamestown in the 52nd minute added to the tally, followed by Lazzara's second of the game just two minutes later, assisted by Sydney Schell. Lugo-Mateo completed her brace in the 54th minute, assisted by Siera Jacques, and added a third goal in the 72nd minute from Ava Williams' assist. Lazzara closed out the scoring with her hat trick in the 81st minute, unassisted.

Herkimer's midfield and defense was strong, with goalkeepers Kerisa Van Olst and Abby Vadney not facing a single shot on goal. The team's coordination, both in defense and attack, was on full display, and the 8-0 victory was a fitting tribute to the sophomores who have contributed to the team's success.
