Herkimer College Softball athletes claim All Region honors

Herkimer, NY – Herkimer College placed five softball players on the All-Region Team. The athletes include; Brooke Snyder (Santee, CA), Jennah Hogan (Rensselaer, NY), Kali Puppolo (Adams, MA), Shannon Moore (Norwich, NY) and Keeanna Wolcik (Baldwinsville, NY).

Three players were also place on the 2018 Region 3A All-Tournament Team. Taylor Zaino (Newport, NY), Keeanna Wolcik and Jennah Hogan were named to the All-Tournament team.

Additionally, Hogan was named the 2018 Tournament MVP and Head coach PJ Anadio was named Coach of the Year.   

Head coach PJ Anadio said, "These five young ladies poured their heart and soul into their team and the game and are now reaping the rewards of their hard work. They embody everything that we teach and preach here at Herkimer College and I couldn't be more excited for them. Not only did they do it on the field, but every single one of these girls were exemplary in the classroom." Anadio added, "The future is bright for these girls and also for the program. Three of the athletes recognized are freshmen and will be returning next season. Coupled with a strong incoming freshman class, we will be in the position once again to compete for a National Championship."
