Michael Green, Donnell Davis Finish Fifth, Sixth in Region III Championship

Herkimer College showed a strong effort in the men's 8K race at the Region III Championship.

Leading the charge for Herkimer was sophomore Michael Green, who finished in 5th place overall with a time of 29:25 and a pace of 5:57 per mile. 

Close behind was freshman Donnell Davis, securing 6th place with a time of 30:04, showcasing solid pacing at 6:04 per mile. These top-two finishes by Green and Davis gave the duo All-Region honors.

Additional Herkimer runners included John Campagna, who clocked in at 36:09, and Bryan Doyle, finishing with a time of 40:51. Rounding out the team's efforts, freshman Joshua Ellis completed the course in 51:53.

The Herkimer team ultimately placed 4th in the team standings with a cumulative time of 3:08:35.

The Generals move forward to the National Championships held in Richmond, VA on November 9th.
