Men’s Cross Country Finishes Sixth at SUNY Poly Wildcat Invitational

In the 2024 SUNY Poly Wildcat Invitational held on September 28, 2024, the Herkimer cross country teams had a strong showing despite facing fierce competition.

Women's 6K Recap:

Herkimer CCC's women's team was represented by Kearah Finlaw. Finlaw completed the course in 33:59.6, earning 36th place.

Men's 8K Recap:

On the men's side, Donnell Davis led Herkimer CCC with a solid performance, finishing 12th overall with a time of 30:33.3. He was closely followed by teammate Michael Green, who secured 13th place, clocking in at 30:39.6. John Campagna, finished in 34th place with a time of 34:13.3, and Cameron Voce placed 40th with a time of 47:34. Completing the team was Landon Davidson, who placed 52nd with a time of 49:20.

The Herkimer CCC men's team finished 6th in the team standings with a total score of 150. While Utica dominated the team competition, Herkimer CCC's standout individual performances from Davis and Green provided a bright spot, and the team will look to build on this experience for the rest of the season.
