In the NJCAA North District B Semifinals, the Generals captured a narrow 1-0 win over the Hudson Valley Vikings.
After having defeated Hudson Valley 4-0 just two games ago, the Generals thought they would cruise to victory. However, a different defensive Viking team showed up.
This time, after 20 shots, the team would only find one in the back of the net from Rood Apolon.
The goal was enough to secure the victory with Andrew Moulton still facing no shots on goal with his tough defense leading the way.
Both teams battled with many cards in 90-minute period in this deciding game, but Herkimer stayed true and finished off the Vikings.
