UTICA, NY -- The Herkimer Generals traveled to take on the Mohawk Valley CC Hawks in there final road game before the Region III playoffs. The Generals came out on fire, controlling the game from the first face off, to down the Hawks 19-5.
Herkimer was led by Khyler Johnson (Akwesasne, NY) who scored 6 goals on the day with 3 assists. Mike Miccio (Syracuse, NY) added 3 goals with 3 assists and Ben Wilson (Salamanca, NY) finished with 4 goals for the Generals.
Jarrod Brant(Port Colborne, ON) finished the day with 16 saves, surrendering only 5 goals...
The Generals reclaimed the Mountain Valley Championship for the first time since 2016 and will host Sussex CC on Sunday to close out the regular season.
