Lacrosse drops first game of the season at Hudson Valley

Troy, NY - Hudson Valley outscored Herkimer 5-1 in the decisive third period to earn a 13-7 win over the Generals on Wednesday afternoon in Troy, NY. The loss dropped Herkimer's record to 2-1 on the season and 0-1 in the Mountain Valley Conference. 

Zach St. Hilaire (Brasher Falls, NY) led the Generals with 3 goals and an assist on the evening. Jack Babka (Draper, UT) and Ryan O' Hara (North Syracuse, NY) each scored 2 goals and tallied 2 assists in the loss. Jace Babka made 19 saves for Herkimer in goal. 

Another road game looms for the Generals as their next contest takes them to Rochester, NY to take on the Monroe Community College Tribunes. Game time is set for 1:00 PM on Sunday afternoon on the Tribunes home field.
