Men's Lacrosse earns first win at home

Herkimer, NY-- The Generals bounce back after their first loss at home to SUNY Broome by taking down region III Jefferson Cannoneers 9-5.  The Generals shared the wealth as scoring and assists came from a variety of players.  Herkimer controlled the tempo of the game throughout with a slight lull in the third and fourth quarter as Jefferson scored two in the third and three in the fourth.  The slight complacency didn't harm Herkimer as they would quickly answer back with goals from #14 Edward White (Utica, NY), #25 Kingsley Lyons (Oneida, NY) and two from #15 Levi Confer (Verona, NY).  A brick wall for the Generals this afternoon was sophomore goalie #34 Charlie Rosaschi who had an incredible 19 saves.  The Generals look to continue with momentum in their next match up this Wednesday (4/5) 4 p.m. as they travel to Hudson Valley Community College.
