Head Coach: Rick Salamone

Rick Salamone took over as head coach of the Herkimer College Men's & Women's Golf teams in March 2024 after an initial stint as the program's inaugaral head coach in 2017, once again elevating the program to historic heights.

In his first year back with the program, freshmen Jaydon Dietz and Anthony Zysk to All-Region honors. A few weeks later, Dietz was named the third NJCAA All-American in program history with an 18th-place finish at the NJCAA National Championships.

Outside of golf, Salamone retired from the New Hartford Police Department as an investigator in 2010. He holds an associate in applied science degree from SUNY Empire State College with a concentration in police science.
