Oladitan and Boyce Become Second Teammates in Program History to be Named NJCAA All-Americans

Herkimer guard Oladele Oladitan and guard Nick Boyce were named NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball All-Americans.

It's the second time ever that the Herkimer Men's Basketball has had two NJCAA All-Americans in the same season. Jimmy Smith and Mitchell Williams were each named NJCAA All-Americans in 1987.

Overall, It's the 16th and 17th All-Americans in the Herkimer Men's Basketball program's history and the first since 2019 when Derrick Felder was named NJCAA Division III Player of the Year.

Oladitan, a 6'4" freshman from Staten Island, was named a First Team All-American after averaging 15.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per game this season. He was named First-Team All-Region and was the Region III Tournament's Most Outstanding player after averaging 18.6 and 13.6 rebounds per game during the three-game tournament from March 1-3.

Boyce, a 6'4" guard from Queens, NY was named a Third-Team All-American averaging 12.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, four assists, and 3.3 steals per game this season. He had the third-most steals in the country this season while breaking the program's single-season steals record (105). He was named All-Region First Team and named to the Region III All-Tournament Team and the NJCAA Division III All-Tournament Team.

"I'm very proud of both Mike (Oladele) and Nick for the distinguished honor of being named an NJCAA All-American," said Herkimer College Men's Basketball head coach Matt Lee. "Both of them have earned the right to be All-Americans and it's awesome that they're just the second teammates to earn the honor in our program's rich history."
