Herkimer NY- The Herkimer Generals battled the Genesee Cougars to a 42 tie at the end of the first half, but the Cougars caught fire to upend the Generals 86-67.
The Generals were led on the night by Jayden Stephens(Yonkers, NY), Chris Volo(Westbury, NY) and D'Ante Quinlan(Yonkers, NY). Stephens went for 17 points and 10 rebounds while Volo went for 11 points and 11 rebounds while adding 2 blocks. Quinlan finished the night with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
Herkimer finishes the season at 20-3 and won the Mountain Valley conference. The Generals get the number three seed in the Region III tournament and will host Mohawk Valley CC on Tuesday (2/22) at 7 P.M.
