Generals fall to Lazers

Herkimer NY- The #1 nationally ranked Herkimer Generals hosted the #6 Ranked Onondaga CC Lazers on Saturday. The Generals took a 35-33 advantage into the half, but the Lazers exploded in the second half out scouting the Generals 46-26 en-route to a 79-61 win. The loss move the Generals to 8-1 on the season going into their last game before the winter break.
The Generals were led by Sophomores Jayden Stephens(Yonkers, NY), Shykell Brown(Rochester, NY) and Chris Volo(Westbury, NY). Stephens had 14 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal. Brown had 11 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Volo added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks for the Generals.
The Generals are back in action this week when they travel to Rochester to take on Monroe CC on Wednesday 12/8.
