BROWN, GRIFFIN EARN ALL-CONFERENCE AND ALL REGION HONORS

HERKIMER, NY — The Mountain Valley Conference and Region III recently selected Herkimer College men's basketball players Shykell Brown and Dante Griffin to their All-Conference and All-Region teams for the 2019-2020 season.

The Generals are currently 22-7 on the season and have earned an At-Large berth to the NJCAA Division III National Championships in Rochester, Minnesota, on March 11-14, where they will look to defend their 2019 National Title. 

Brown, a freshman guard from Rochester, New York, was named to the First Team for both All-Conference and All-Region. Brown is the Generals' leading scorer, averaging 17.8 points per game for the year. He also made a team-high 93 3-pointers on the season while shooting 86 percent from the free throw line.

Griffin, a freshman guard from Utica, New York, was named Second Team All- Conference and Third Team All-Region for this year. Griffin is averaging 11.2 points per game and leads Herkimer with four assists and two steals per contest.
