SHYKELL BROWN NAMED GREEN AND GOLD MALE ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

HERKIMER, NY—Herkimer College has announced its Green and Gold Athletes for the month of January. They are men's basketball player Shykell Brown (Rochester, NY) and women's basketball player Namir Davis (Utica, NY).

Brown, a freshman guard, leads Herkimer in scoring at 16.5 points per game with a team-leading 61 three pointers made. Brown also is among the regional leaders in free throw percentage at 85.7percent.

"Shykell is a tri-captain who has been instrumental in our success so far this year," said Coach Matt Lee. "We look forward to the challenge ahead, and Shykell will play a big role in helping us meet that challenge."
