HOWARD LEADS GENERALS TO 103-63 WIN OVER SCHENECTADY CCC

Herkimer, NY - Keshaun Howard (Brooklyn, NY) scored 19 points and all 10 Herkimer Generals scored in a 103-63 rout of Schenectady CCC on Saturday afternoon in Herkimer, NY. It was the 16th straight win for the Generals as they improved their record to 19-1 on the season and are currently in first place in the Mountain Valley Conference with a 9-1 mark.

Herkimer, still ranked # 2 in the latest NJCAA Division III National Poll, also got 16 points from Musa Pough (Brooklyn, NY) and 15 points from Derrick Felder (Yonkers, NY). Arnold Agard (Brooklyn, NY) chipped with 10 points on the afternoon while Isaiah Stone (Baldwin, NY), Jaymes Jackson (Brooklyn, NY) and Teshaun Beckles (Bronx, NY) each pitched in with 9 points apiece. The Generals shot out to a big lead at halftime, leading by a score of 55-27, before cruising home to the 40 point win. 

Next up for the Generals is a huge home showdown with the Fulton-Montgomery Raiders on Monday night, Feb 11. This will be the first matchup of the season between last year's Region III Championship Game teams as the game that was scheduled for Feb 6 was postponed and moved to February 15th. Game time for the rematch of last year's championship is set for 6:00 Pm at the Herkimer Varsity Gym.
