HERKIMER LOSES CLOSE GAME TO NORTH COUNTRY 86-82

Herkimer, N.Y. - Freshman guard Derrick Felder (Yonkers, NY) dropped 38 points (6-10, 3 pt) in Herkimer's loss to North Country CC.  Felder's season high 38 points helped guide the Generals to a last minute showdown with North Country.  Foul trouble plagued both sides for much of the second half as each team would adjust accordingly.  In the end North Country won the game in the last minute in what was a back and forth shoot out to the buzzer.  Sophomore guard Mattson Darrah (Porirua, New Zealand) went 5-16 from beyond the arc and managed 19 points on the night.  Musa Pugh (Brooklyn, NY) and Melad Daoud (Yonkers, NY) combined for 21 rebounds.  Pugh scored his 13 points as a reserve player filling in for starter Solomon Silas (Lagos, Nigeria) who fouled out.

The Generals fall to 15-2 (4-1) on the year.  Herkimer will be on the road against Hudson Valley CC on 1/27 at 1 pm for the next game.
