Herkimer, N.Y. - The streak continues as Herkimer defeated SUNY Broome at home this Saturday. Herkimer's leading scorer was freshman Teshaun Beckles (Bronx, NY) with 22 points. Beckles also shared the lead for the most rebounds (8) in the game with teammate Solomon Silas (Lagos, Nigeria). Other leading scorers included Melad Daoud (Yonkers, NY) with 13 and Mattson Darrah (Porirua, New Zealand) with 12. Daoud and Darrah were a combined 7-17 from 3-point range on the day.
Herkimer improved to 9-0 overall and 3-0 in conference. The Generals will go on the road to SUNY Adirondack for their next match up. It is scheduled for a 7 pm start on 12/6.
