Herkimer, N.Y. - Melad Daoud (Yonkers, NY) went 4-8 from three point range and led Herkimer with 18 points as they went on to beat Jefferson CC 94-74. Daoud's three point range couldn't be contained by Jefferson. Teammate Derrick Felder (Yonkers, NY) chipped in with 15 points but perhaps more impressive were his 17 assists on the day. Mattson Darrah (Porirua, New Zealand) and Solomon Silas (Lagos, Nigeria) both scored 11 points for Herkimer as well.
The Yonkers duo helped guide Herkimer to their 8th straight victory this year keeping the streak alive.
Herkimer improves to 8-0 on the season and will face SUNY Broome at home on 12/2 at 3 pm.
