Herkimer, N.Y. - Herkimer won their first Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference game against Clinton CC 91-58. The Generals dominated most of the game offensively and defensively. Sophomore Mattson Darrah (Porirua, New Zealand) and freshman Soloman Silas (Lagos, Nigeria) were the two top scorers for Herkimer. Darrah had 18 points, all from three point range. Silas contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds. Musa Pough (Brooklyn, NY) and Teshaun Beckles (Bronx, NY) combined for an impressive 26 of Herkimer's 91 points from a reserve role.
Herkimer will travel to Utica, NY to play MVCC on 11/8 at 8pm for a Mountain Valley Conference game.
