Herkimer, N.Y. - The Herkimer Generals opened up their season with a bang. Mattson Darrah (Porirua, New Zealand) went 6-17 from three point range and 4-4 from the free throw line. Darrah totaled 24 points on the night. Teammate Derrick Felder (Yonkers, NY) added 17 points to help lead the Generals attack. Freshman Soloman Silas grabbed 15 rebounds for Herkimer. Twelve of the fifteen rebounds came on the defensive side.
Herkimer is now 1-0 on the season. Their next game will be home against Clinton CC on November 4th at 4 pm.
