TYQUAN SCOTT EARNS 30 OVER ONONDAGA

Herkimer, NY-- The #4 Herkimer Generals hosted the #6 Onondaga Lazers this afternoon in a battle of the best.  Herkimer came in with a record of 8-1, and Onondaga a record of 9-0, this was sure to be an intense game.  The men battled back and forth in the beginning until Onondaga found and kept the lead 15-13 with 11 minutes left in the first half.  The rest of the game Herkimer fought from behind.  Herkimer Generals sophomore #23 Tyquan Scott (Long Beach, NY) played arguably one of the best games in his career this afternoon scoring 30 points over the Lazers. Scott did what he could to keep his team in it until the end when the possibility of a lead seemed promising as #4 Isiah Dobere (Albany, NY) stole the ball away from OCC and passed it up to Scott for an easy bucket with just under four minutes left in the game and Herkimer only down 69-66.  Unfortunately for Herkimer, the Lazers lead grew just a few made foul shots later and the game finished Onondaga defeating the Generals 81-72.
