Men’s Basketball remains undefeated at home Wednesday

(Herkimer's Patrick Dorrian led the team with 24 points against the Timberwolves on Wednesday).

HERKIMER, NY – Playing in their fourth consecutive home game and second consecutive conference opponent didn't faze the #7 Herkimer Generals men's basketball team as they won their 12^th consecutive game of the season on Wednesday (2/10), defeating SUNY Adirondack 97-53.

Helping Herkimer (21-3, 13-0) remain undefeated at home and against the conference was multiple Generals. Scoring in doubles figures was Patrick Dorrian (Kingston, NY), Matt Dallas (Hudson, NY) and Justin Harley (Central Islip, NY). Dorrian led the way with 25 points, hitting six three-point field goals as well in the process. Behind him was Dallas with 13, scoring 11 of that in the second half and Harley finished with 11, with eight of his points coming in the second half after Herkimer built a 23-point lead (49-26) at intermission.

Rounding out the scoring was Anquan McLean Jr. (Albany, NY), Kristian Mondesir (Queens, NY), Christopher Simmons (Utica, NY), Todd Spottswood (Schenectady, NY), Shomari Redd (Westbury, NY), David McKenzie (Central Islip, NY) and Tyquan Scott (Long Beach, NY). McLean Jr. had eight, Mondesir had eight, Simmons had seven, Spottswood had seven, Redd had five, McKenzie had two and Scott had two.

The team will complete their five-game home stand this Saturday (2/13) when Columbia-Greene visits Herkimer College. The Twins are 6-20 overall and 4-9 against the Mountain Valley conference. As mentioned previously, Herkimer is undefeated against that conference (13-0). Tipoff on Saturday is scheduled for 1 p.m.
