Men’s Basketball remains undefeated at home on Saturday

(Shaitique Blatche sinks the three-point field goal in the second half, finishing the game with eight points).

HERKIMER, NY – On an afternoon where Head Men's Basketball Coach Matt Lee was honored for winning his 300th career game against Finger Lakes last Sunday (11/22), the #7 Herkimer Generals men's basketball team kept their current six-game win streak intact at home, defeating SUNY Broome 84-75.

Herkimer (8-1, 3-0) got a big performance from Patrick Dorrain (Kingston, NY), watching the sophomore pour in 20 points for the game high. After Dorrian, Anquan McLean Jr. (Albany, NY) chipped in 13, Daniel Owens (Albany, NY) had 12, Shomari Redd (Westbury, NY) had 10, Tyquan Scott (Long Beach, NY) had nine, Shaitique Blatche (Syracuse, NY) had eight, Tru Garland (Bronx, NY) had seven and Todd Spottswood (Schenectady, NY) had seven.

Herkimer's next game is on the road against SUNY Adirondack. They'll face the Timberwolves on Wednesday (12/9) at 6:30 p.m.
