Generals win 12th consecutive conference game 108-60

SCHENECTADY, NY – After scoring their second lowest total to Monroe on Tuesday, the Herkimer Generals men's basketball team scored their second highest point total this season at Schenectady County Wednesday (2/18), defeating the Royals 108-60 on their home court.

Herkimer (25-3, 16-1) had every player on their game day roster score, a total of 13 student-athletes. Leading the way with 20 was sophomore Jamell Johnson (Rochester, NY). Johnson was joined by Ken Woodard (Bronx, NY) and Dantre Langhorne (Greenport, NY) in double figures. Woodard had 14 and Langhorne had 13.

The final 10 players to score, giving Herkimer 12 consecutive conference wins, were Kareem Brown (Troy, NY), Carson Murphy (Mohawk, NY), Jallah Tarver (Schenectady, NY), Mike Santillo (Mohawk, NY), Felix Riascos (Poughkeepsie, NY), Brandon Thomson (Long Island, NY), Daniel Owens (Albany, NY), Julio Galay (Bronx, NY), Kainan McCarthy (Mohawk, NY) and Eli Huggins (Bronx, NY). Brown had nine, Murphy had eight, Tarver had eight, Santillo had seven, Riascos had seven, Thomson had six, Owens had six, Galay had four, McCarthy had four and Huggins had two.

The Generals final regular season game is this Saturday, February 21st. They'll host North Country Community College at 1 p.m. in the varsity gym. The Saints are 5-1 in their last six games. It will be senior day for Herkimer.
