Six game win-streak snapped at home

(Jonathan Feiler's dunk from Wendall Williams gave Herkimer a jump start in the second half).

HERKIMER, NY – Despite getting 20 points in the second half from sophomore forward Jonathan Feiler (St. James, NY), the Herkimer Men's Basketball team lost 79-72 to Broome Community College on Saturday in the varsity gym.

Herkimer (6-2, 3-0 MVC) led briefly in the first half (16-15) after a lay-up by Peter Clark (Utica, NY), and late in the second half after a Enson Garcia lay-up (Bronx, NY), but failed to capitalize in the final five minutes with a 62-58 lead. The Hornets ended the game outscoring the Generals 21-to-10.

The high scorer was Feiler, finishing the game with 23 points. After Feiler, Wendall Williams (Syracuse, NY) had 16 points, RaShawn Collins II (Harlem, NY) had 11 points, Garcia had 10 points, Julio Galay (Bronx, NY) had six points, Jerrell Hunter (Utica, NY) had four points and Clark had two points.

Herkimer will be right back at it on Sunday. They'll host Tompkins-Cortland Community College at 3 p.m.
