Generals’ Baseball ranked preseason #2 by NJCAA

HERKIMER, NY – The NJCAA finished up their season preview series by ranking the Generals baseball team #2 in DIII National Polls.

Herkimer was also selected to finish first in Region III. Other NJCAA baseball preview specials included top newcomers and listed freshman Pat Dorrian (Kingston, NY). Also featured was top returning pitchers which listed Patrick Merryweather (Baldwinsville, NY), Brandon Nylin (Hyde Park, NY), Mike Harrington (Glen Falls, NY) and Jacob Shortslef (Hannibal, NY).

The NJCAA also previewed top returning position players which included John Boland (Rhinebeck, NY), Eric Downey (Colonie, NY), Tyler Phillips (Hancock, NY), Chris Rave (Middletown, NY) and Matt Lichtman (Smithtown, NY).
