Michele Davis '95 Inducted into Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame

Former Herkimer College Women's Basketball standout Michele Davis ('95) was inducted into the Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame in an announcement made on Tuesday.

Davis, a Utica-Notre Dame graduate, was one of the greatest players in the program history, compiling a 58-6 record while winning Region III Player of the Year and the Region III Championship twice.

She was named an All-American in both seasons, one of just two players in program history to do so.

Davis ultimately continued her playing career at Division I SUNY Albany holding several program records upon graduating.

Davis has been the head coach of the Utica University Women's Basketball program where she holds the program's all-time record in career victories (279). She led the program to two NCAA Tournament appearances.
