
Four Generals Earn All-Region Honors for 2025 Lacrosse Season
Four members of the Herkimer College men's lacrosse team have been recognized with Region III All-Region honors following strong individual performances throughout the 2025 season.
Freshmen Ryan Hoyt (Johnstown, NY) and Casey Ryan (Auburn, NY) were both named to the Second Team, while sophomore Lukas Quinn (Homer, NY) and freshman Parker Erwin (Victor, NY) earned Third Team recognition.
Hoyt had a standout season at attack, leading the Generals with 48 goals and 34 assists for a team-high 82 points. He also recorded 35 ground balls and fired 111 shots, serving as one of the top offensive threats in Region III.
Ryan, another key freshman contributor, tallied 23 goals and 19 assists for 42 points on the year. He added 22 ground balls and 44 shots, providing a consistent scoring presence throughout the season.
Quinn, a sophomore midfielder, earned Third Team honors after posting 19 goals and 10 assists for 29 points, along with 27 ground balls and 57 shots. His versatility and two-way play were key to the Generals' midfield success.
In goal, Erwin made an immediate impact as a freshman, registering 142 saves with an 8.79 goals against average and a 58.2% save percentage. His steady play between the pipes helped anchor the Generals' defense all season long.
The Generals wrapped up the 2025 season with a 10-4 record and will look to build off this year's success with a strong group returning next season.
