Rochester, NY - In their first games in the state of New York for the 2019 season, the Herkimer Generals earned a split with Division II Monroe Community College on Tuesday afternoon in Rochester, NY. Herkimer rallied for a 5-3 win in 8 innings in Game 1 before dropping the second game by a score of 10-7.

Dale Stanavich (Amsterdam, NY) got the win, pitching 3 innings of one hit ball and Ryan Lanaro (Schenectady, NY) got the save by coming in and getting the final out to stop a Monroe rally in the bottom of the 8th.
